- Born in 1970, Delhi,self-taught artist painting impressionistically, mainly in oils, inspired by Mother Nature. Earned a Law degree from Delhi University and yet decided to dedicate life to art. Aim is to promote humanity’s connection to its natural environment so that people stop neglecting Nature in pursuit of narrow worldly pursuits. Shown works in solo art exhibitions, group shows and participated in National Art Exhibitions organized by All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society (AIFACS), Lalit Kala Academy and Camlin (New Delhi). Works have been hailed by important media outlets, including The Times of India, The Statesman, The Pioneer, Hindustan Times, Navbharat Time and Nai Duniya and are part of many private collections abroad and in India, including H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa. Works have also been on auction for the Environmental Charity via Christie’s, the most prestigious international purveyor of fine art.
